Wavelene R. Williamson, 84 years of age, passed away 1 August 2024; she was born in Arkansas, 15 May 1940. She passed away at the age of 84 on 1 August 2024 at Accent Care Hospice Naperville IL. She attended Altheimer High School where she was awarded a scholarship to play women’s basketball. She moved to Missouri where she lived many years and employed at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft, St Louis. In 2008 she moved to Aurora IL. She had kidney dialysis three times a week for the last four years developing other major physical issues. She is survived by one sister Louetta Williamson.
Wavelene is preceded in death by father, mother, Curtis and Sibyl Williamson, three brothers, John Wesley, Clinon, Donald and one sister, Tillie Newell.
She is at peace. No more pain and suffering.
She has been laid to rest beside family members at Mt Zion Cemetery, Golden, MS on August 8, 2024.
