I had the privilege of working with Tammy at NMRC. I could tell she really cared for those clients. Your family is in our prayers.

Tammi was my niece and she was 20 days older than me so when we were children it was more like we were cousins. I have fond memories of her from childhood. One especially is when Tammi and her sister would come over and spend the night. We went to see my other sister in my parents station wagon and on the trip the song Delta Dawn would come on as it was popular that year and we would sing it in the car and laugh along the way. I will never forget it. Neither of us had great childhoods so little things like that are sweet memories. I am so sorry to learn of her passing but so thankful she belonged to the Lord. My deepest condolences to her husband, children, and grandchildren. May God comfort you in your loss.

Tammy was a great friend of mine, as was Chris, her husband. I had the pleasure of working with her at Daniels Nursing home when she & I were CNA's before she & Chris married, then again years later when she was DON. She was a friend & co worker for many years. My heart goes out to Chris & all her family. We will miss you SO much, Tammy.

Chris, Tammi was a wonderful friend. We developed a close bond at NMSH, that included many closed-door talking and confiding sessions together. I left Mississippi and moved to Georgia in 2004; that didn't stop me and Tammi from continuing to talk -- sometimes through texts, social media, phone calls, USPS, etc. We even met in Alabama with Pat Robbins for a girls' lunch together. I'm so sorry for your loss. Tammi was a great nurse with a heart of gold for her patients; she was the same way with her friends. I feel blessed to have known and loved her. - Terry Shields

Tammi was an awesome woman and the best D.O.N. anyone could ask for. She was kind hearted and always did her best to help anyone. I had the privilege to have worked with her and have her as a close friend at work and outside work. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her. My prayers go out to the family.
