I remember when I first met Sunni. She had the sweetest smile and she never let her disability get in her way. She always had a lower chair with her pillows in it. One day while she was gone to lunch I swapped her chair for a higher one and put her pillows in it. She came back and the first thing she said was "Gator!!!" I loved picking at her and she back at me. We were all saddened when she had to be transferred to another health department but she kept in contact. Heaven is brighter because of her smile. We will miss her here on earth but what a day it will be when we meet again in Heaven. It won't be the same when we are all together. Love you Sunni and your family. Praying for them for comfort until we meet again. Regayda Johnson aka Gator 🙌✝️🥰

I met Sunni later on in life. I was one of her therapists (her favorite lol). Sunni was under my care off and on throughout the years when she needed me. We remained in contact when she wasn't via phone or text. She always had a smile followed by a smile/smirk when she came to therapy because she knew that it was time to work. I always told her that by the time she was discharged she would not be needing that wheelchair. I recently evaluated her and told her the same thing although this time she was only getting one discipline. Well ... she will forever be without that wheelchair because she has gain wings !! This is what should keep our spirits up. She always had a warrior spirit about her . She taught me how to appreciate the little things in life. She was a person who was always grateful and would let you know how grateful she was. Her craft she made for me when we first met still remains hanging in my home and forever will. To Sunni's family ...... know that you will always have an "extended family" that is here to comfort you and is praying for you all.

I loved Sunni like my own babies. She was filled with goodness that over flowed to all around her. I've never met a sweeter little girl/young lady. Heaven sure gained another angel.

I can remember many times Sunni came to stay the night with us.. to hang out with Amber.. she always stood out to me. Such a sweet spirit about her. And undeniable character and strength is what I noticed. She most definitely will be missed. Prayers for her family and friends.
