TREMONT--Roger Dale Wilson, 68, passed away Monday, March 6, 2023, at his residence. He was born February 11, 1955 to the late Erschel Wilson and the late Emogene Rogers Wilson. Roger enjoyed farming, gardening, singing bass in the choir with Gardendale First Baptist Church for many years and spending time with his family and friends. He was a member and Deacon at Providence Baptist Church in Tremont. Services will be at 3:00 pm on Thursday March 9, 2023 at Providence Baptist Church with Bro.Paul Stupka, and David Aldridge officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olive Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Thursday March 9 at Providence Baptist Church. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Wilson of Tremont, daughters, Constance (Brandon) Tidwell of Birmingham, AL, and Lisa (Eric ) Kirksey of Tremont, sons, Michael McBrayer of Clebeland, AL, and James McBrayer of Warrior, AL, 14 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, brother, Steve (Polly) Wilson of Hamlet, NC, and sister, Nelda Smith of Hamlet, NC. He was preceded in death by his parents, Erschel and Emogene Wilson. Pallbearers will be Brandon Tidwell, Michael McBrayer, Eric Kirksey, Jonathan Aldridge, Blain Evans, and James "Chico" Holland.
