BOUNDS COMMUNITY--Retha Underwood Wigginton 71, passed away on December 12, 2022 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was surrounded by her family at the time of her passing and she lived a wonderful full life. Retha was born on April 23, 1951 to the late Lawrence and Lennis Underwood in Alabama. She married Joe Wigginton on March 4, 1972 and had two children, Melissa Wigginton Aters and Marsha Risner. She was beloved by her family and friends. Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday December 16, 2022 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Lentz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday December 15 at Senter Funeral Home. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Retha is survived by her husband, Joe Wigginton of Bounds Community, her children, Melissa Wigginton Aters of Bounds Community, and Marsha Wigginton Risner of Tremont, her grandchildren, Kaitlin Aters Booth and spouse Ben Booth of Bounds Community, Stewart Risner, Michelle Risner, both of Tremont, Boone Aters of Bounds Community, Nick Risner, Brian Risner, and Miley Risner, all of Tremont, great grandchild, Koa Reed Booth, her siblings, Mackey Underwood and spouse Dolly of the Eggville Community, Eddie Underwood and spouse Dianne of Jena, LA and Melba Sue Johnson of Fulton, and several nieces, nephews and other extended family. Retha was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lennis Underwood, son in law, Danny "Goose" Aters, siblings, Elton Underwood and spouse Sue, Windell Underwood and spouse Toy Mae, Gerald Underwood and spouse Lillian, Philip Underwood and spouse Bonnie, Tommy Underwood, and James Underwood, brother in law, Keith Johnson and other extended family.
