Obituary For Qunnie Mae Johnson
FULTON--Qunnie Mae Watts Johnson, 91, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born November 18, 1931 to the late Thomas Jessie Watts and the late Leatha Crouse Watts in Iuka. She retired from Charm Step after 17 years of service and was a member of Maple Springs Church of God. Qunnie enjoyed quilting, word search puzzles, cooking breakfast, spoiling Jackie Wayne Johnson, taking care of Mr. Earnest, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1pm - 3pm on Sunday August 27, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home. The funeral will be private. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Earnest Johnson of Fulton, grandchildren, Marsha (Brian) Gray of Mooreville, Maretha Johnson of Fulton, Luke (Mikki Steele) Johnson of Fulton, and Hannah Johnosn (Mack) Beane of Fulton great grandchildren, Brennan Gray, Abby Gray, Annabelle Gray, and Jack Beane, sisters, Louise Cromeans of New Albany, and Shirley Dayenian of Tupelo, and a host of other special family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Leatha Watts, son, Jackie Wayne Johnson, brothers, James Thomas Watts, Clayton Watts, Leroy Watts, and Edward Watts, sisters, Betty South, Billie Pharr, and Bobbie Jones,
