Mary Pearl Steele Rogers, 79, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023, at CourtYard Community Living Center. She was born August 15, 1943 to the late John Thomas Steele and the late Ruthie Leigh Ammons Steele. She enjoyed, fishing, gardening, and anything with the outdoors. She absolutely loved spending time with family and all of her grand and great-grandchildren. She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and attended Fulton Free Will Baptist Church for over 40 years.
Services will be 11:00 am on Tuesday May 16, 2023, at Senter Funeral Directors with Bro. Michael Hutton officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday May 15, 2023 at Senter Funeral Directors. Burial will be at Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Survivors include her daughter, Natasha (Eddie) McKnatt of Fulton; son, Dexter (Dana) Rogers, Jr. of Booneville; grandchildren: Cindel (Paul) Farr, Allison (Isaac) Featherston, Laken McKnatt, Kelsy (Hunter) Gilmore, J.D. Rogers; great-grandchildren: Addy Featherston, Jack Featherston, Abby Featherston, Ily Featherston, Brayden Spears, Ryleigh Spears, Maecy Farr, Princess her dog, Nala her granddog.
Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dexter Rogers Sr.; sisters: Della Bates, Marie Cummings Mills, Zelma Hood, Betty Johnson, Beatrice Steele; brothers: Garvis Steele, Elmer Steele, John Reese Steele, John Steele.
Pallbearers are Ricky Steele, Terry Johnson, Kenny Bates, Matthew McNinch, Keith Hood, Tim Steele.
