Obituary For Patrick Monk
FULTON--Patrick Eugene Monk, 35, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2023, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born August 12, 1987 to Gary Monk and Lila Anderson Monk in Alabama. He attended Fulton Free Will Baptist Church in Fulton. Sergeant Patrick Eugene Monk served in the 84th Chemical Bravo Company in the U.S. Army for 6 years. He worked for West Fraser as a Environmental Health and Safety Manager and was an avid University of Alabama fan where he played in the Million Dollar Band for the university. Patrick loved his job, fishing and his time serving his country in the Army but his greatest love was for his wife and kids. Services will be at 3:00 pm on Tuesday January 31, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Hutton officiating. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:45 pm on Tuesday January 31 at Senter Funeral Home. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Nikki Monk of Fulton, 3 children, Easton Monk, Cooper Monk, both of Fulton and Bella Monk of AL, parents Gary and Lila Monk of AL, brother, Charles Monk of AL, and his nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Gary Monk, Charles Monk, Chauncy Leathers, Lt. Col. David Leatherwood, Paden Fleming, and Aiden Monk. Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Monk, Cooper Monk, West Fraser, Demond Gibson, and the men and women of the CCU at North Mississippi Medical Center. To the Monk Family, My Deepest Sympathies and Prayers go out to you! I was Deeply Saddened to receive this tragic news! A Very Good Man gone way too soon!! I had the Honor and Privilege to be able to Help Coach Patrick and Charlie in Baseball! Patrick was a good ball player and I will remember him fondly , with his infectious smile and sense of humor! Sorry for your loss!!
