Beverly and her brother Robert developed a close relationship during her illness. He would faithfully take her to all appointments and her monthly grocery shopping.

Beverly was preceded in death by her two sisters, Melody Watson and Jackie Rothwell; one brother, Henry Swain; and one brother-in-law, Robert Watson.
