Obituary For Kathleen Lewis
FULTON-- Kathleen Johnson Lewis, 88, passed away on Monday January 13, 2025, at the North Mississippi Medical Center, surrounded by family. She was born April 8, 1936, to Manny and Ethel Waddle Johnson. She married James Edward Lewis on May 24, 1952. She was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church for nearly 40 years. Lovingly known as "MaMaw Kat" to her family and just "Kat" to friends. She loved gardening, shopping, and telling stories of the past, but most of all, she loved her family dearly.
A celebration of Kathleen's life will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday January 15, 2025, at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Clayton, Matt Lewis, and Ceburn Gray officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Masonic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Wednesday January 15, at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Kathleen is survived by her two daughters, Janet Graham(Johnny), and Lori Gray(Jeff); daughter in law, Chris Lewis; sister, Judy Wilson(Gary); brother, Lawery Johnson(Linda); grandchildren, John Graham,(Brandy), Matt Lewis(Bridgett), Amber Ramirez(Luis), Josh Graham(Ashley), Alisha Kent(Nicky), Blake Bandre(Jesse), Ceburn Gray(Cassie); great grandchildren, Hope Graham, Braden Graham, Kylee Kent, Alyssa Lewis, Megan Graham, Graham Ramirez, Jaycee Thompson, Chloe Bandre, Walker Tatum, Ashlyn Lewis, Mason Lewis, Manning Gray, Ainsley Lewis, Molly Kay Gray, and Grace Helen Graham; great great grandchildren, John Dalvin Cooley, Addison Graham and Cannon Cooley, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Jim Lewis; sister, Mavis Kitchens; brother, Bill Johnson; and two great grandsons, Grayson and Eli Kent.
Pallbearers will be John Graham, Josh Graham, Luis Ramirez, Jesse Bandre, Nicky Kent, Matt Lewis, Ceburn Gray, and Steve Johnson.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Eli Kent Scholarship at Itawamba Community College Foundation 602 West Hill St. Fulton, MS 38843.
