Aunt Willard Faye, I will always remember y'all coming to my papaw's (Travis Roscoe Davis) funeral. Kaylee, our 3 year old, loved Arlis. She pestered him constantly. Anytime a child or a dog likes you, that shows what a wonderful and patient person you are. I am sorry that our families were never close, but I will always treasure Mommy Davis's teapot that you choose to give to me. It made me feel so special. I only hope one of my girls will treasure it as much as I have. I only got to meet Mommy one time in my life, but I will never forget her. We spent the night and she dolted on me like I was there with her everyday. We are getting over the flu and will not be able to come, but rest assured you are in my thoughts and prayers. I love you from afar.
