Freeda Lou Umfress Bray, 87, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side. Monday, October 23, 2023. She was born April 19, 1936 to the late K E Umfress and the late Myrtle Riley Umfress. Her life revolved around taking care of and helping her grandchildren. She was a Godly woman who loved the Lord. The family would like to express their gratitude to Enhabit Hospice for their wonderful care.
Services will be 2:00 pm on Friday October 27, 2023 with visitation beginning at 12:00 all at Senter Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Nick Smith officiating. Burial will be at Stephens Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Survivors include her children: Sheila Harmon of Mantachie, Nickey Bray of Mantachie, Melissa (Johnny) Daniel of Mathiston, MS; grandchildren: Matthew (Julie) Bray, Patrick Bray, Chris Bray, John Harmon, Paige (Kevin) Westmoreland, Nick Smith, Connor Daniel, Ben Daniel; host of great grandchildren; brother, Marcus (Diane) Umfress of Fulton.
Preceded in death by her parents; many brothers and sisters; husband, Odis Verdell Bray.
