Dorothy Lauderdale Wilemon, 89, passed away Monday, January 16, 2023, at her home. She was born July 13, 1933 to the late Humbert Lauderdale and the late Coy Wayne Dulaney Lauderdale. She retired from Itawamba Manufacturing after 40 years of service. She was a dedicated and caring member of Pine Grove Church of Christ. She cooked a many meals for her family, church family, and other people that she considered family. She was famous for her sweet pickles, pineapple cake, and many other things. She was the sweetest soul and was a dedicated wife for 71 years with her sweetheart, Romie. Services will be 11:00 Thursday January 19, 2023, at Senter Funeral Directors with Ministers Tim Howard, Mark Neaves, and Dennis Doughty. Visitation will be 4:00-7:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at Senter Funeral Home. Burial at Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Survivors include her children: Kathy (Dennis) Doughty of Memphis, TN, Karen Collum of Fulton, Keith (Karen) Wilemon of Hartselle, AL; grandchildren: Jill (Neal) Myers, Kandace (Dave) Ferguson, Jace (Tiffany) Wilemon, Shae Collum, Seth (Tiffany) Collum, Cade Wilemon; great-grandchildren: T.J. Plunk, Gunner Collum, Avery Collum, Dixie Collum, Sophia Ferguson, Casen Wilemon, Whitley Wilemon, Baylor Collum, Samuel Ferguson; sisters: Nellie Coker of Fulton, Agnes Gray of Fulton, Sister, Linda (Kenneth) Rainwater of Florence, AL; special friends: Jimmy (Deborah) Franks, James (Cathy) Neaves, Judy Engle, host of other special caregivers.
