Obituary For Dexter "D.D." Pitts
Dexter "D.D." Pitts, formerly of Tremont, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2023, at his other home in Pass Christian, MS. Graveside service only will be 1:00 Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Shady Valley Cemetery in Tremont, MS.

We enjoyed visiting with Mr. D.D. and Carolyn when they were visiting in their home near Tremont. He was a very interesting man to talk with. He knew a lot about the history of N. Miss. and the people that had lived there, he will be missed. RIP Mr. D.D. Our prayers and love for Carolyn and the family.

I remember the Pitts family, Durward, his mom, dad and sister. His mom and dad always attended church services at Shady Valley Church of Christ when I was a kid. In 1955 on an FFA trip to Biloxi, MS I visited Durward at his work when he was a Pharmacist in Long Beach. He was a very good man and well liked by all who knew him. RIP Durward Pitts.
