Obituary For David Underwood

FULTON/MANTACHIE-- David Kyle Underwood, 67, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born January 30, 1958 to the late Edward Underwood and the late Jamie Kyle Underwood in Chicago. David was known for his generous heart, steady presence, and deep love for his family. While he enjoyed the thrill and tradition of watching NASCAR races, his greatest joy in life came from spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Whether he was taking them to school, cheering them on at events, or simply being present in their everyday lives, David cherished every moment with them.His unwavering support and warmth left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him. David's legacy will live on in the laughter and love of his grandchildren, the memories shared with family and friends, and the values he passed down through his quiet strength and kindness.
The family will receive family and friends from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Saturday July 5, 2025, at Senter Funeral Home. There will be no public funeral service.
Burial will be in Keyes Cemetery.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his sons, Kyle (Lacey) Underwood of Fulton, and Blaine (Emma) Underwood of Mantachie; grandchildren, Marli Larabee, Jaylee Larabee, Preston Underwood, Avery Underwood, Emma Grace Underwood, and Silas Underwood; sister, Paulette (Junior) McMillen of Tupelo and brother, Jerry Underwood of Mantachie.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Pam Underwood; his parents, Edward and Jamie Underwood; sister, Martha Dodson; and a brother, Paul Underwood.

    I have to many memories of your father to post, as growing up he was more like a brother than an uncle. Just know that I loved him and your mother very much and continue to love y'all.
