Obituary For Clyde Wilson

FULTON--Clyde Wilson, 95, passed away Friday, February 10, 2023, at his residence. He was born March 8, 1927 to the late Oscar Wilson and the late Angie Turner Wilson in Itawamba County. He was veteran of the U.S. Army where he proudly served his country in WWII. He worked in Jackson, MS for Jackson Reduction Company for 20+ years before moving back to Fulton and started working for JESCO until his retirement. After retirement from JESCO, he then returned to work for the 5th District of Itawamba County until his second retirement. Clyde loved gardening, being outdoors and spending time with his family and friends. Services will be at 11:00 am on Monday February 13, 2023 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Kerry Lee Peden officiating. Burial will be in Harden's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Sunday February 12 at Senter Funeral Home. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. He is survived by his children, Edna O'Flarity of Terry, MS, Nelson Wilson of Fulton, Ronnie (Linda) Wilson of Fulton, Cindy Goodwin of Brewer, Lisa Sandlin of Peppertown, and Angie Wilson of Mantachie, son in law, Ricky Scarbrough of Starkville, grandchildren, Kevin (Jennifer) O'Flarity of Jackson, grandchildren, Drew Wilson of Red Bay, AL, Shane (Leslie) Fortenberry of Starkville, Christie (John) Davis of Jackson Chasity (Hoyt) Peden of Iuka, Melissa (Peggy) Wilson of Fulton, Leigh (Scott) Childs of Madison, MS, Lacey (Dillon) Oswalt of Red Bay, AL, Kim (Eric) Thorn of Nettleton, Laine (Stacy) Ozbirn of Golden, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, special friends, Ricky Parker, Mary Nell Ray, Harleigh Archie, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hazel Wilson, second wife, Louise Wilson, his parents, Oscar and Angie Wilson, infant son, Joseph Wilson, daughter, Mary Scarbrough, son in laws, Mike O'Flarity, Donnie Sandlin, and Bud Goodwin, daughter in law, Nancy Wilson, grandson, Johnny Sandlin, brothers, Alex Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson, sisters, Odene Shields, Robbie Fae Banks, Odell Truelove, Mellie Nesler, and Voline Wilson. Pallbearers will be Colby Holder, Alex Peden, Ricky Thompson, Jonathan Archie, Tyler Archie, Justin Archie, Todd Farrar, and Tony Dill.     I was so sorry to hear of Clyde's passing but am comforted in the he knowledge be of his long time life story. I am honored to have know him and to have been part of his family even though it was for a short time, knowing his wonderful man will always be a special part of my life's memories He will be missed. I will continue to pray for all of his family and friends
