James M. Tucker
February 8, 1940 - January 22, 2018
James Tucker, 77, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018, at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. He was born February 8, 1940 to the late R.C. Tucker and the late Dessie Wayne Hood Tucker. He was a member and Deacon of Itawamba Christian Church. James was a hard worker as a plumber and electrician for the City of Fulton, Dan Pate and he was self-employed for 35 years. He loved to garden and fish and be in the middle of whatever his children or grandchildren was doing.
Services will 11:00 am on Friday January 26, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Dr. Ray Trantham, Bro. Joshua Cox, and Bro. Jim Wismer officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at Senter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Tucker of Fulton; daughter, Paula (Tony) Luke of Preston, MS, daughter, Patricia (W.L.) Hyland of Abbeville, MS, son, David (Lana) Stamper, daughter, Michelle (Jay) Morgan of Fulton, daughter, Hope (Allen) Spencer of Fulton; granddaughters: Hannah (Ben) Hardy, Summer Morgan, and Maya Spencer; grandsons: Allan (Mary) Hyland, Fred Hayes, Jacob (Kelsey) Luke, Joey (Maggie) Hayes, Adam Hyland, and Jack Spencer; great-granddaughters: Lexie Ruth Hardy and Collier Hyland; aunt, Esther Sheffield.
Pallbearers are Dirk Bennett, Daniel Morgan, Greg Gann, Keith Hill, Kelly Martin, and Robert Blake
Honorary Pallbearers will be Terry Jamison, Ken Robinson, Beatty Moore, Jimmy Mayhall, and Matt Heikenfield.
Memorials can be made to Itawamba Christian Church designated to Sonshine Christian Camp.
