Mavis Green Cooley, 86, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018, at her home. She was born December 2, 1931 to the late Perdie Green and the late Irene Wardlaw Green. She retired from T.E.P.A. after 48 years of service. She was a member of Fulton United Methodist Church and was very active in it. She enjoyed cooking for everyone and growing flowers. She loved spending time with family and helping to raise her Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at Senter Funeral Home with Rev. Phillip Box and Rev. Don Bishop officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 - 8:00 pm Tuesday, Jan. 9. Burial will be in Itawamba Memorial Gardens. Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
Survivors include her Husband, Bobby Cooley; Sister, Peggy Pearce; Brother, Mike Green; Nephews: Jeff (Nita) Pearce, Brock (Nicole) Pearce, Darrin (Belle) Green, Jeff (Tammy) Cooley, Steve (Gail) Cooley, Ronnie (Debbie) Cooley; Nieces: Amanda (Matt) McCarley, Gail, Sherry, and Cathy; several Great Nieces and Nephews, Sister-in-Law, Barbara Sue (Tony) Barber.
Preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Allene Green; Infant son, Mark Cooley
Pallbearers will be Jeff Pearce, Brock Pearce, Darrin Green, Jeff Cooley, Steve Cooley, Ronnie Cooley, and Matt McCarley.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the T.E.P.A. Employees and retirees.
