David Andrew Nichols Sr., 85, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2017, at NMMC. He was born February 7, 1932 to the late Henry Austin Nichols and the late Jewel Barnes Nichols. He worked at Cooper Tire and R&W Wood Works before retiring to be a full time caregiver to his beloved wife. He was a member of Mantachie Church of Christ. He enjoyed spending time with family and socializing with anyone.

Services will be 2:00 pm on Monday December 18, 2017 with visitation beginning at 12:00 all at Senter Funeral Home with Minister Bobby Cleveland officiating. Burial will be in Sandy Springs Cemetery. Senter Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Survivors include a Son, David Andy Nichols, Jr.; Daughter, Jennifer Nichols; Granddaughter, Avery Nichols, Brothers: Waldo (Hazel) Nichols, Jerry (Ann) Nichols, R.B. Nichols, and Gary (Sue) Nichols; Sisters: Nona Allred, Linda Pitts, and Brenda (Mackie) Burcham.

Preceded in death by his parents; Wife, Frances Nichols, infant son, Jason Nichols, Sister, Elese Senter; Brothers: Richard and Calvin Nichols.

Pallbearers will be his Nephews and Great Nephews.

Honorary Pallbearers are Milton Barlow, Delbert Turner Jr., Ricky Adams, Stephen Brazil, Andrew Cochran, Jeff Johnson, Robert Reeves, Tim Shackelford, Landon Thomas, Heath Watson, Jaime Wheeler, also the men of Mantachie and Ozark Churches of Christ.
