Russell Jay McCracken, 59, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at his home . He was born October 15, 1957 to the late R.J. McCracken and the late Ann Webb Nanny. Russell was a character known for his witty personality, love of sports, being an avid Alabama football fan. His truest passion was spending time with family and friends, especially his grandson Ace.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Wednesday September 13, 2017 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Bobby Jarrell officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday September 13 at Senter Funeral Home.
Senter Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
He is survived by his Wife, Judy McCraken of Fulton, 2 Sons, Josh (Nicole) McCracken of Belden, Marcus McCracken of Tremont, Daughter, Shanda (Larry) Crawley of Fulton, 2 Grandsons, Ace McCracken, and Preston Brace, Brother, Ronnie (Cathy) McCracken of Verona, 2 Sisters, Debbie Summers of Saltillo, and April Holmes of Mantachie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Webber Nanny, 2 Brothers, Perry McCracken, and Dale McCracken, and 2 Grandsons, Tyler Hale, and T.J. Hale.
Pallbearers will be Harvey Clements, Ricky McDaniel, Dale Swindale, Will.
